My brother had one of these rosaries and I was so impressed by the workmanship and history behind it that I wanted to get my husband one for Christmas. Battle beads is a fitting name for these because they are obviously very strong, but more so because it is the choice weapon against the evil of our time. Our Lady asks us to pray the rosary every day, and that is good enough for me. I chose the St. Benedict cross and it is very nice! The detail of the St. Benedict medallion and Miraculous medal scapular is exquisite. I like the weight of these beads. The length is perfect too. It is not too long or too short. It came in a little protective tin which was nice along with some prayer cards. It is also reassuring that if I have a problem with it, the company will fix or replace it. I am very happy with my purchase and am positive my husband will be too. I may be ordering one for myself because I get tired of having to fix my rosary.

This is my 2nd RR purchase. I returned my 1st as that rosary was too bulky for me. The WW1 metal rosary is perfect. The decade and smaller chain beads are all hallow which allow the connecting stems to "retreat" into them, thus allowing the rosary to compact itself nicely as it goes into your pocket. It appears quite sturdy, and there is always the RR guarantee. I opted for the Memento Mori skull above the Crucifix. The skull spins freely. The Crucifix is beautiful, ornate, but not too large. Quite a bit of detail. This is my go-to traveling rosary. I have zero concerns about it getting damaged. I've never seen a rosary like this one and would easily recommend to anyone. It has a very masculine appearance and weight about it. It feels in the hand like the weapon that it is. As a veteran I appreciate the military background of the design. I waited too long to buy one.

This is the second WWI Battle Beads I’ve ordered because lately I’ve been wanting the more feminine version for my every day carry. I still love my first WWI Battle Beads (St. Benedict Cross + Miraculous Medal + 3 saint medals) and this would be kept on my bedside for those nights when I get nightmares. So for Christmas, I’ve asked my husband I wanted the Floral version WWI Battle Beads and it is very beautiful and just as well-made and sturdy as my first one but without the extra saint medals and I can’t wait to unwrap it and start using it on Christmas morning.

Custom ordered a 15 decade rosary with Memento Mori Skill and KofC centerpiece. The price was very reasonable, and had it in hand three days later, one of those days being Thanksgiving. I didn't order fast shipping, but they got it to me to enable me to start using it fast. High quality and I highly recommend!

I purchased a rosary similar to this one from another company earlier this year and they took 2 months to ship it to me. I finally received it and it had some flawed spacing in the beads and broke apart the very first week I had it. They did not answer any of the emails or facebook messages that I sent to them. I will not mention the other company name but this rosary I purchased from Rugged Rosaries is far better in quality and is slightly different in style with perfect beads. The floral WWI rosary is gorgeous. It's a nice weight that feels good in the hands. The beads are smooth and well spaced for praying. Even though it is a substantial rosary, it fits on my small pocket and doesn't get tangled. It is a wonderful set of beads to pray with.

I have gone through so many Rosaries because I keep it in my pocket all the time. this is a durable Rosary and it has weight to it. It is strong and the beads won't break! I love it!

I wear my rosarie daily, not as a fashion statement but as a symbol to myself of my faith, and due to my job where i work at that not everyday is gauranteed. Overall it was totally worth the price, has not broken, changed or faded metal, no green markings on my neck. I bought this to be a Christmas gift but... of course I opened it,carefully. I really love the color. It feels good in my hand. My husband loved it so I may get another one.

I purchased this rosary for myself. I converted to Catholicism 26 years ago, but I've been "Catholic-lite". My new priest has inspired me to be a "little more Catholic". So I'm doing the sign of the cross and praying before my meals in public, FINALLY teaching my tired, old knees to genuflect, and now I've decided to learn to pray the rosary. I've picked up (and lost) cheap plastic rosaries here and there in the past, but I'd only prayed the rosary once, the day my mother went into a coma while in hospice care two days before she passed away. This one, the Battle Beads with Pardon Crucifix, is beautiful, and I had the St. Christopher and St. Michael medals attached (in honor of my son and grandson). I feel proud carrying it around with me. I haven't memorized all of the prayers yet (the Apostles Creed or Hail, Holy Queen), nor the mysteries, but I have a cheat sheet for those prayers, and for now I am substituting my own intentions for the mysteries. I love the metal beads, it's easy to keep track of where I am in the prayers with my eyes closed. Praying for a different intentions each decade has opened up my own prayer life. I'm used to saying a short, quick prayer each night, but after praying each decade my own prayers seem to flow out of me a little easier. Perhaps I can work my way up to praying the traditional rosary someday, but right now I'm very happy with what I'm doing now. Thanks for building me a rosary I'm comfortable carrying around with me.

I got it as a gift for a friend and I think he's gonna love it! It's beautifully made, it's strong, and I love not only the tin but the leather pouch it comes in. I was scared it would smell like loose change because it's made of metal, but it's fine. 10/10, would recommend.

This is the second WW1 Battle Beads Rosary I have purchased. I lost the first one but it served me well while I was in possession of it. The one I just ordered was perfectly assembled and is very sturdy, not to mention beautiful. So many of the rosaries I have owned in the past broke apart. It appears to be well made, time will tell how well it wears. I love everything about it; the gunmetal color, the weight, size and tangle free design. If I could change one thing I would love to see the Knight emblem on one side and one of the other medals on the other side.

I love my rosary! I've had others before that were very fragile and broke easily. I've been caring mine with me everyday since I received it and you can tell it is very durable/rugged. I love everything about it.

My Rugged Rosary is very nice and seems to be exceptionally well crafted. I purchased this based on the advertised "rugged" aspect. This particular rosary will be going with me when we hike the last 100+ miles of the Camino de Santiago trail in 2020. I wanted something that could be used often and didn't want to worry about handling it gingerly. It will spend plenty of time in my pocket or backpack. If it works out...which I think it will...maybe I'll give one to my brother-in-law who is a priest.
